Behind the scenes, a dedicated operations and event management team ensured a smooth experience across all aspects of the festival, coordinating 35+ supervisors and more than 800 staff over multiple zones. Weeks of meticulous preparation allowed the team to navigate last-minute updates and ensure the seamless delivery of a single-day event that felt effortless to attendees.
The teams from Allure Event and Rizz Projects Management played a vital role in ensuring coordination, trust, and collaboration throughout the project, demonstrating the critical role of professional event management companies in delivering large-scale sporting events.
Key contributors included Atheer Baamer, who handled operational changes and supported the wider team; Mohammed Ismail, overseeing village operations; and Faisal Ibrahim, managing stage activities. The overall race operations were led by Muhammed Abu Haydar, Project Manager of the race, with support from Azzah Al Hujuri, Project Manager of the Marathon Village.
