Abu Dhabi Global Health Week 2025, Organized by DMG Events, Will Take Place at ADNEC Centre From April 15-17

Abu Dhabi Global Health Week (ADGHW) 2025 will take place at ADNEC Centre, Abu Dhabi from April 15 – 17, 2025, bringing together professionals from healthcare, business, research, and policy to discuss key issues in health and well-being. Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, the event will feature over 200 speakers and focus on collaboration and knowledge-sharing.

The event hosted by the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH) and organized by DMG Events will welcome speakers such as Anil Soni, CEO of the WHO Foundation; Dr. Jean Kaseya, Director General of the Africa Center for Diseases Control; Dr. Nir Barzilai, Director of the Institute for Aging Research at Albert Einstein College of Medicine; Michel Demaré, Chair of AstraZeneca; Sir Jonathan Symonds, Chair of the Board at GSK; Jacob Thaysen, CEO of Illumina; Elena Bonfiglioli, GM Healthcare, Pharma and Life Sciences at Microsoft; and Dr. Tomislav Mihaljevic, CEO of Cleveland Clinic. Health ministers from Bahrain, Egypt, Nepal, and the Hellenic Republic will also participate, along with investors, policymakers, and industry leaders.

Speaking about the event, H.E. Dr. Noura Al Ghaithi, Undersecretary of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH), emphasized the importance of collaboration in healthcare. She noted that Abu Dhabi’s investment in life sciences, technology, and healthcare infrastructure provides a strong foundation for these discussions and partnerships, helping drive progress in the field.

The event is expected to host more than 15,000 visitors, 1,900 delegates, and 150 exhibitors from 90 countries. Forum@ADGHW will serve as the main stage for discussions, where leaders from government, industry, and academia will address pressing healthcare challenges. The StartUp Zone will provide a platform for new businesses to present their ideas to investors, with winners of the Smart Health Hackathon announced during the event. The ADGHW Innovation Awards will recognize individuals and organizations contributing to advancements in healthcare, celebrating innovation and progress.

Under the theme “Towards Longevity: Redefining Health and Well-being,” the event will focus on longevity and precision health, health system resilience and sustainability, digital health and AI, and investment in life sciences. With a focus on preventive, personalized, and holistic healthcare, Abu Dhabi continues to position itself at the forefront of healthcare advancements, investing in precision health, AI, and genomic research to enhance outcomes and improve quality of life.
