The 2025 Formula 1 season concluded at Yas Island with record attendance across race week events, organisers have confirmed.
More than 339,000 fans attended the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2025 and its accompanying entertainment programme, marking the highest turnout in the event’s history.
The season finale featured a three-way championship battle between McLaren teammates Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, and Red Bull’s Max Verstappen. The final race and qualifying sessions attracted a record 203,000 spectators to Yas Marina Circuit, a six percent increase on the previous year. Norris secured his first Formula 1 World Championship title during the weekend.
Beyond the on-track action, race week included four nights of post-race concerts, with performances by Benson Boone, Elyanna, Post Malone, Metallica and Katy Perry. Official after-parties hosted by Idris Elba, Calvin Harris and Keinemusik were also held across the weekend. In total, 136,000 music fans attended concerts and after-parties during race week.
Fans also benefited from expanded access to the circuit, including two public pit lane walks and FAB Track Walks on the opening day of the event. Thursday recorded the highest attendance for an opening day in the history of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The weekend saw appearances from a number of international figures across sport, entertainment and culture, including Ana de Armas, Jason Statham, Emily Ratajkowski, Madelaine Petsch, Jessica Chastain, Bill Gates, Thierry Henry, Ronaldinho and Jannik Sinner, alongside headline performers.
