Abu Dhabi is set to welcome a range of new attractions throughout 2025, further strengthening its position as a destination for cultural exploration, family entertainment, and outdoor activity.
Among the highly anticipated cultural landmarks on Saadiyat Island are the Zayed National Museum, Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi, and the immersive art experience teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi. These projects support the emirate’s goal of becoming a global cultural hub.
On Yas Island, popular venues are expanding. Yas Waterworld now includes the “Lost City” with 20 new rides, while Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is preparing to launch a new record-breaking roller coaster. Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi is also developing a dedicated Harry Potter-themed zone, adding to its existing themed experiences.
New entertainment venues are taking shape beyond Yas Island. Surf Abu Dhabi, located on Hudayriyat Island, is set to host international surf events, while the upcoming Velodrome Abu Dhabi will cater to professional and recreational cyclists alike. Also under development is The Sphere Abu Dhabi, a next-generation performance venue offering immersive visual and audio experiences.
These projects align with the emirate’s Tourism Strategy 2030, which focuses on increasing visitor numbers and enhancing destination infrastructure.
