The Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) has introduced LAMMAH AL BAHR, a free public festival at Al Mugheirah Beach in Al Dhafra, running from February 7 through June. The festival brings together a variety of activities, including sports, cultural experiences, and family-friendly entertainment.
The event features a water park, zip-lining, and sea-based challenges, along with the Champions Zone, which will host padel tennis, beach volleyball, and football tournaments. Families can enjoy funfair rides, board games, climbing activities, and inflatables. The Heritage Zone offers an opportunity to learn about Emirati traditions through interactive experiences such as pearl diving, dhow sailing, and fishing. The Art Haus gallery will showcase local artwork, combining traditional influences with contemporary styles.
A selection of food options will be available at the Food Park, offering both Emirati and international cuisine. Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore a marketplace featuring handcrafted souvenirs and artisanal products.
Entry to LAMMAH AL BAHR is free, with some activities requiring prior booking. Accommodation options include special hotel packages, and a caravan park and glamping site will soon be available for those who wish to extend their stay.
Beyond the festival dates, the Champions Zone will continue to operate as a year-round sports and recreation space. The festival will be open on Fridays from 5:00 PM, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 AM. The Champions Zone Sports Area will be accessible from Monday to Thursday between 3:00 PM and 10:00 PM, from 5:00 PM on Fridays, and from 10:00 AM on weekends.
