Authorities advise visitors to follow staff instructions, stay alert to safety announcements and report any concerns to venue teams or authorities.

With the Eid holiday approaching, several leisure and cultural attractions across Abu Dhabi have reopened to visitors, offering residents and tourists a variety of indoor and outdoor experiences during the early spring break period. The reopening provides families and visitors with opportunities to explore cultural institutions, adventure parks and entertainment venues across the emirate.

Authorities have advised the public to remain attentive while visiting public venues and to follow safety guidance issued by relevant authorities. Officials emphasised that the wellbeing of residents and visitors remains a priority, with authorities continuing to monitor regional developments and maintain preparedness measures across the emirate.

The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi has also issued guidance for travellers whose journeys have been affected by flight disruptions. Hotels have been advised to support guests facing delays by extending check-out dates where possible, while travellers experiencing onward travel challenges are encouraged to coordinate directly with hotel reception teams, airport staff or cruise operators for assistance with arrangements.

Among the attractions welcoming visitors is the Abu Dhabi Butterfly Garden, an indoor tropical environment designed to house thousands of butterflies in a controlled habitat. Located within the waterfront destination of Al Qana, the garden allows visitors to walk through landscaped pathways while observing different butterfly species as they move freely through the space.

Nearby, Adrenark Adventure offers a large indoor activity park featuring rope courses, climbing structures and obstacle challenges designed for children, teenagers and adults. The facility focuses on physical activities that encourage balance, coordination and teamwork in a supervised indoor setting.

On Yas Island, visitors can experience adventure attractions such as CLYMB Abu Dhabi, which features one of the region’s tallest indoor climbing walls alongside a large indoor skydiving flight chamber. The attraction is designed for both beginners and experienced participants seeking a controlled adventure experience.

Also located in Al Qana is The National Aquarium Abu Dhabi, one of the largest aquariums in the Middle East. The facility showcases thousands of marine and freshwater species across themed environments representing ecosystems from around the world, with underwater tunnels and educational exhibits designed to highlight marine conservation and biodiversity.

Cultural attractions are also welcoming visitors across the Saadiyat Cultural District. The internationally recognised Louvre Abu Dhabi presents artworks and artefacts spanning different civilizations and historical periods beneath its distinctive architectural dome. The museum’s galleries explore global cultural connections through exhibitions that bring together objects from across centuries.

Visitors can also explore the immersive digital art environment at teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi, where interactive installations use light, motion and projection to create constantly changing visual environments that respond to visitor movement.

Another key cultural institution in the district is the Zayed National Museum, which highlights the history, culture and development of the United Arab Emirates through exhibitions dedicated to the legacy of the country’s founding leader and the nation’s heritage.

Entertainment attractions on Yas Island are also welcoming visitors, including Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi, which features a wide range of water rides, slides and family attractions inspired by Emirati heritage themes. The park forms part of Yas Island’s broader entertainment offering.

Also located on the island is Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, an indoor theme park dedicated to the legacy of the Italian automotive brand Ferrari. The park includes rides, simulators and attractions inspired by motorsport and automotive engineering.

Completing the entertainment offering is Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, an indoor theme park where visitors can explore themed lands based on characters and stories from the entertainment company Warner Bros., including settings inspired by classic cartoons and superhero franchises.

Authorities advise visitors to follow guidance from attraction staff, remain aware of public safety announcements and report any concerns to venue teams or relevant authorities to help maintain a safe environment for residents and tourists during the Eid holiday period.
