Al Husn Hotel Muscat has announced the appointment of Eugène de Rooze as Hotel Manager, bringing more than two decades of international hospitality experience to the luxury beachfront property.
Part of Hilton Muscat, Barr Al Jissah Resorts, Al Husn Hotel Muscat is known for its refined hospitality, adult-only setting and distinctive location overlooking the Gulf of Oman.
A Dutch national, Eugène has held leadership positions across the Middle East, Europe, Africa, the Caribbean, Mexico and the United States. His experience includes roles with leading hospitality brands such as Kempinski, Waldorf Astoria, The Ritz-Carlton, Hyatt and Fairmont.
Prior to joining Al Husn Hotel Muscat, Eugène served as Hotel Manager at Kempinski Palace Cairo, overseeing key operational departments including rooms, food and beverage, spa and recreation, security, training and quality. He also played a key role in the pre-opening and operational success of Waldorf Astoria Kuwait as Director of Operations.
In his new role, Eugène will lead the hotel’s day-to-day operations and work closely with the resort leadership team to further enhance the guest experience across accommodation, dining, wellness and personalised services.
