AMAALA has unveiled details of its Triple Bay Marina Yacht Club, a central component of its coastal development on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coastline. Located within Triple Bay, the project is part of a broader masterplan positioned as a wellness-focused destination aligned with the goals of Vision 2030.
The yacht club has been designed by HKS, Inc., with interiors by ROAM Interior Design. It spans approximately 7,900 square metres across four levels and is situated at the heart of the marina village, serving as a hub for residents, visitors, and the international yachting community.
The architectural concept draws on the relationship between land and sea. Terraced forms reference the surrounding Red Sea landscape, while curved elements reflect maritime influences. The exterior features a white façade inspired by traditional Arabian architecture, while interiors incorporate locally sourced materials such as stone, timber and leather, combined with a restrained palette of neutral tones.
Arrival to the yacht club is designed as a defined spatial sequence, with an arched entrance framing views of the Red Sea. Interior features include a vaulted ceiling and a lighting design intended to enhance the transition from exterior to interior spaces.
The yacht club will offer a range of amenities, including dining venues, lounges, and leisure spaces overlooking the marina, as well as a pool deck, business suites, and retail areas. The marina itself is designed to accommodate a range of yachts, supporting both private use and maritime events.
Triple Bay is being developed across three natural bays along the coastline and is positioned as a destination centred on wellness and tourism. The yacht club is targeting LEED Platinum certification, reflecting sustainability considerations integrated into the wider development.
The project forms part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 programme, which aims to diversify the national economy through tourism and infrastructure development. AMAALA is expected to contribute approximately SAR 11 billion to GDP and generate around 50,000 jobs upon completion.
The Triple Bay Marina Yacht Club is expected to play a central role in the broader development, supporting the growth of the Red Sea coastline as a destination for international tourism and yachting.
