Art Dubai 2025: A Three-Day Art Celebration at Madinat Jumeirah, April 18-20

Art Dubai, the leading international art fair in the Middle East, is returning in 2025 with an expanded and diverse programme. Taking place from Friday, April 18 to Sunday, April 20 at Madinat Jumeirah, Art Dubai will feature a wide range of contemporary, modern, and digital art, bringing together artists, galleries, and curators from around the world.

Art Dubai is held under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The fair is held in partnership with A.R.M. Holding and sponsored by Swiss Wealth Manager Julius Baer, with Piaget as the exclusive Watch and Jewellery partner. HUNA serves as a partner, with Dubai Culture & Arts Authority as the strategic partner of Art Dubai and Art Dubai Digital.

The 2025 edition will focus on offering a platform for new global perspectives through art commissions, performances, talks, and workshops. This year’s fair will feature 120 exhibitors, highlighting contemporary and modern art, with special attention to supporting galleries and artists from underrepresented regions.

The fair is organized into four key sections: Contemporary, Bawwaba (featuring new works created for Art Dubai or in the past year), Art Dubai Modern, and Art Dubai Digital.

A key feature of Art Dubai 2025 is the Art Dubai Commissions programme, which will explore themes of transformation and the relationship between humanity and materials. Héctor Zamora, a Mexican artist, will present a new series of performances and sculptures that reflect these themes.

Mohammed Kazem, a prominent Emirati artist, will showcase a new digital installation, sponsored by Julius Baer, featuring three walls displaying coordinates against a backdrop of moving waves. This installation invites viewers to reflect on the relationship between nature and technology.

The Art Dubai Digital section will also feature several digital installations, including works by Ouchhh Studio, Breakfast, Jacopo Di Cera, and Hybrid Xperience. Hybrid Xperience will present a large-scale kaleidoscope inviting audiences to explore the intersection of art and artificial intelligence.

Art Dubai continues to engage younger audiences through the A.R.M. Holding Children’s Programme, now in its fifth year. This year’s programme will feature a collaboration between Peju Alatise, an internationally known artist, and Alia Hussain Lootah, an Emirati artist and educator. Together, they will guide children on an educational journey focused on water, local ecosystems, and ecological connections.
