Dubai Design Week will return for its 11th edition from Tuesday, November 4 to Sunday, November 9, 2025, presenting a programme that reflects the theme of ‘Community’ in line with the UAE’s Year of Community.
Dubai Design Week is organized and managed by the Art Dubai Group (ADG). The event is held under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, and is produced in strategic partnership with Dubai Design District (d3), a member of TECOM Group PJSC, and supported by Dubai Culture & Arts Authority
Taking place at Dubai Design District (d3), the event will bring together established designers, emerging talent and public installations that explore the role of design in connecting people. The Waterfront Terrace in d3 will host exhibitions across design, fashion, architecture and art, while 30 large-scale outdoor installations will be displayed throughout the district. This year’s Urban Commission, When Does a Threshold Become a Courtyard, will be a central feature alongside a series of exhibitions, pop-ups and collaborations.
Editions, the limited-edition art and design fair, will return from November 6 to 9, presenting work from 50 local and international galleries, studios and collectives. The week will also include workshops at Maker Space for visitors of all ages, a marketplace featuring local designers and producers, as well as food experiences, children’s activities and live performances.
The annual Urban Commissions competition will once again invite designers and architects to develop outdoor furniture for public spaces, with winning designs considered for production. The Abwab initiative will also be featured, showcasing emerging talent from West, South and East Asia and Africa under the theme ‘In the Details’.
A series of talks by international design experts will round out the programme, offering insights into contemporary design and innovation.
Dubai Design Week continues to serve as a platform for creativity, collaboration and exchange within the regional and global design community.
