Techno pioneer Carl Cox is set to perform a one-night-only set at Playa Pacha, located at FIVE LUXE, JBR, on Friday, October 17. Marking his return to the region after several years, the performance is part of the Pacha ICONS series and will be Cox’s first appearance in the Middle East in recent times.
The event is organised by Pacha ICONS, a brand under The Pacha Group, which is owned by Dubai-based FIVE Holdings. FIVE Holdings also owns and operates the FIVE LUXE property where the performance will take place.
Known for his extensive influence on the global electronic music scene, Carl Cox’s sets are a hallmark of precision and energy. A long-time figure in the industry, Cox made history as the first DJ to use three turntables live and held the longest-running residency at Space Ibiza. He continues to be a central figure at major global festivals including Tomorrowland, Ultra, and Burning Man.
Playa Pacha provides the backdrop for this anticipated evening. Located on the beachfront at FIVE LUXE, the venue offers an open-air layout with a large LED screen and an audio-focused design that supports a high-quality listening experience.
This event is part of a busy entertainment season in the UAE. Upcoming performances include Mary J. Blige at Coca-Cola Arena on June 24, Jennifer Lopez at Etihad Arena on July 29, Lil Baby on October 18, Enrique Iglesias in November, and Katy Perry in December.
