Chicago, the longest-running American musical in Broadway and West End history, will return to Dubai for a limited five-day engagement at Coca-Cola Arena from 16 to 20 December 2026.
Presented by Coca-Cola Arena, the internationally acclaimed production will bring its iconic music, award-winning choreography and classic storytelling back to UAE audiences as part of the year-end entertainment calendar.
Set in the glamour and excess of 1920s Chicago, the musical follows Roxie Hart, a nightclub dancer and housewife who becomes embroiled in a sensational murder case. Determined to avoid conviction, she turns to one of Chicago’s most renowned criminal lawyers to transform her scandal into headline-making fame, igniting a rivalry with fellow inmate Velma Kelly.
The production features some of musical theatre’s most recognised songs, including “All That Jazz,” “Cell Block Tango” and “Razzle Dazzle,” and continues to captivate audiences worldwide with its jazz-inspired score and theatrical spectacle.
The upcoming Dubai performances follow the musical’s previous successful UAE runs at Dubai Opera in 2022 and Etihad Arena in 2024, where additional dates were added following strong demand.
The UAE’s musical theatre season will also include performances of Cats at Etihad Arena from 4 to 13 June 2026.
