Ciel Dubai Marina, the world’s tallest hotel, marked its debut with a coordinated aerial wingsuit activation over Dubai Marina, organised in collaboration with XDubai and the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET).
As part of the activation, five XDubai wingsuit athletes carried out a formation flight across the Marina skyline. The lead athlete completed a fly-through of Ciel Dubai Marina’s architectural centrepiece, known as the “eye of the needle,” passing through the 82-storey structure at speeds exceeding 200km/h. The remaining athletes deployed colour effects during the flight, creating visible aerial trails above the area.
Ciel Dubai Marina stands at 377 metres and is distinguished by its architectural design and panoramic views of the city and the Arabian Gulf. The hotel features 1,004 rooms and suites, each with floor-to-ceiling windows.
Facilities at the property include the world’s highest infinity pool, a luxury spa scheduled to open in April 2026, a gym located on the 61st floor, and exclusive guest access to Soluna Beach Club on Palm Jumeirah. The hotel will also offer multiple dining venues, including West 13, a Mediterranean restaurant; East 14, a buffet-style concept focused on East Asian cuisine; and Tattu, a UK-based brand making its UAE debut with a multi-level restaurant, bar, sky pool and lounge.
Ciel Dubai Marina is developed and operated by The First Group, the global hospitality and real estate developer behind the landmark project.
