Dubai will welcome comedian and satirist Bassem Youssef on 16 November 2025 as part of his Bassem Youssef Live tour. The performance will take place at Coca-Cola Arena, offering audiences an evening of comedy and storytelling.
Bassem Youssef’s career has been unconventional. A former heart surgeon in Cairo, he shifted paths during the Arab Spring and went on to create one of the most popular satire shows in the Arab world. Often referred to as the “Egyptian Jon Stewart,” his sharp commentary brought international recognition, as well as challenges that eventually led him to relocate to the United States. Since then, he has continued to establish himself as a distinctive voice in global comedy.
Known for weaving humour with reflections on culture, politics, and personal experiences, Youssef’s upcoming show in Dubai will draw from these themes. Speaking ahead of the performance, he said:
“Dubai has always been a city close to my heart – a place where cultures, ideas, and people from all over the world come together. I am so excited to bring this show to the UAE and to share stories that I hope will resonate in a city that thrives on diversity and connection.”
