Dubai Announces International Sports and Entertainment Free Zone Cluster (ISEZA)

Dubai has announced the launch of the International Sports and Entertainment Free Zone Cluster (ISEZA), a new initiative aimed at developing the sports and entertainment industries. Located in One Central, next to the Museum of the Future, ISEZA will provide a dedicated space for businesses, organizations, and professionals in these sectors.

The free zone will support sports leagues, rights owners, investors, talent agencies, media professionals, and creative industry experts. It will also offer licensing opportunities for businesses in sports management, marketing, event management, talent representation, and media broadcasting.

ISEZA will encourage the growth of emerging industries such as e-sports, AI-driven sports technology, and fan engagement innovations. It will also facilitate sports exhibitions, museums, academic programs, and community projects at the Dubai World Trade Centre and Dubai Expo City.

Damir Valeev, CEO of ISEZA said, “Our project is aligned with Dubai’s strategic vision of being a global destination for sports, entertainment, and tourism. This initiative will have a major social impact by creating a unique environment for hosting sports exhibitions, museums, academic programs, and community projects. Driven by the UAE’s vision for business development with higher social impact, we believe ISEZA will contribute significantly to promoting active sports and a healthy lifestyle across the UAE.”

By attracting international and regional sports organizations, federations, and leagues, ISEZA aims to strengthen Dubai’s role in the global sports and entertainment industries and provide businesses with a supportive environment for growth and collaboration.
