Dubai-based entrepreneur Lewis Allsopp has announced the launch of Seatsy, a UAE-homegrown ticketing and hospitality platform co-founded with Tom Giles.
Developed as a direct-to-consumer marketplace, Seatsy provides access to major global sports and entertainment events, including the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, Ultimate Fighting Championship, Formula 1, and international concerts. The platform is designed to serve as a single destination for premium event experiences.
Unlike traditional resale platforms, Seatsy currently operates on a business-to-consumer model, offering tickets directly to customers. This approach is intended to ensure verified access, with a focus on security and reliability.
Events in the UAE are already available on the platform, including experiences at Jumeirah Golf Estates and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, with additional regional inventory expected to be added.
Seatsy is positioned as a technology-led marketplace, with plans to introduce a peer-to-peer resale function in a later phase, subject to regulatory approvals and platform development.
Allsopp has been based in Dubai since 2006 and is also the co-founder of Allsopp & Allsopp, established in 2008 with his brother Carl Allsopp. The company has grown into one of the UAE’s prominent real estate brokerages, having recorded significant transaction volumes over the years.
With Seatsy, the founders aim to expand access to global events while building a locally developed platform rooted in the UAE’s growing consumer and events market.
