Dubai Holding Entertainment Brings Chinese New Year Celebrations Across Its Attractions in Dubai

Dubai Holding Entertainment is extending Chinese New Year celebrations across its portfolio, offering a range of cultural activities, themed entertainment and value-driven packages for the community.

Dubai Holding Entertainment is marking Chinese New Year with a city-wide line-up of themed experiences across its attractions, welcoming the Year of the Fire Horse with cultural performances, dining offers and family-friendly activities. Running across multiple venues from mid-February, the programme features entertainment, retail promotions and special packages designed for residents and visitors.

At MOTIONGATE™ Dubai, celebrations will take place from 17 February to 2 March, centred around the park’s Kung Fu Panda zone. Guests can attend Kung Fu Academy shows, watch Lion Dance and Dragon Dance performances, and participate in interactive activities including Mr. Ping’s Noodle Fling. The area will feature themed décor and festive merchandise available at the Dragon Warrior Shrine and Studio Central. A dedicated Chinese Food Market will offer dishes inspired by Chinese cuisine, alongside limited-time retail and dining promotions. Tickets are priced at AED 295 online and AED 330 at the gate.

Families looking for a short break can opt for a themed stay at T-Rex Glamping at Dubai Parks and Resorts, with rates starting from AED 780++ per night. The experience includes fossil digs, dinosaur-themed pools and interactive zones such as the Excavation Site, Lava Watchpoint and Kids’ Academy. Guests can also spot dinosaur species including Euhelopus, originally discovered in China. Evening activities include outdoor movie screenings and dining at the Roaring Dinosaur Café and Splashing Raptor pool bar, with access to The World of Riverland for additional dining and entertainment options.

At The Green Planet Dubai, celebrations will run from 17 February to 3 March. Families can explore the indoor rainforest while children participate in animal-inspired arts and crafts sessions. The experience extends to JNGL restaurant, which will offer a special dining deal including festive elements and complimentary fortune cookies. Entry prices start from AED 139 per person.

Meanwhile, Wild Wadi Waterpark is introducing a special resident offer for Chinese nationals living in Dubai, with tickets starting from AED 179 per person. Visitors can access rides including Jumeirah Sceirah, Wipeout and Riptide, Tantrum Alley, Burj Surj, Juha’s Dhow and Lagoon, as well as the Juha’s Journey lazy river.
