The community walk at DXB extended the programme to Dubai International Airport, giving airport employees and travellers an opportunity to participate while passing through the airport.

Dubai Mallathon extended its citywide walking programme to Dubai International Airport on Friday, August 14, with a free community walk held at Terminal 3 Concourse B.

The walking activity was conducted in two sessions, with the first taking place from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM and the second from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. The sessions brought together Dubai Airports employees, travellers transiting through DXB and community partners.

Participants could choose between a 1.5-kilometre route and a 750-metre route, allowing people with different fitness levels to take part in the activity.

Participation was free, and no registration was required. Travellers and visitors could join the walk from the Family Zone near Gate B28 during the scheduled sessions.

Dubai Mallathon is a citywide fitness initiative introduced under the direction of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai. The programme encourages residents and visitors to stay active during the summer through walking activities across Dubai.
