Dubai Run 2025 Welcomes 307,000 Participants During Dubai Fitness Challenge

The run also served as one of the closing highlights of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, which encourages people across the city to incorporate 30 minutes of daily activity for 30 days.

Dubai hosted another successful edition of Dubai Run, presented by Mai Dubai, on Sunday morning, with 307,000 participants taking part. The event once again reinforced its position as the world’s largest free community run and formed an important part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) 2025 calendar.

The run offered two routes — a 5 km course suitable for families and casual runners, and a 10 km course for those seeking a longer distance. Both routes passed several well-known Dubai landmarks and were open to people of all ages and fitness levels.

Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), said: “Dubai Run, presented by Mai Dubai, showcased our city as a global wellness destination. It exemplified Dubai’s ability to create inclusive spaces where the world comes together to move, connect, and thrive.”

The morning featured a steady turnout of residents and visitors who gathered along Sheikh Zayed Road and surrounding areas to participate. Support teams, volunteers, and partners helped facilitate the smooth execution of the event.

The run also served as one of the closing highlights of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, which encourages people across the city to incorporate 30 minutes of daily activity for 30 days. The final event of DFC 2025 will be Dubai Yoga on 30 November at Zabeel Park.
