The PAC-MAN Live Experience is set to make its way to Dubai in May 2025 at Active Games UAE in Al Quoz. This immersive, interactive event will give both gamers and nostalgia enthusiasts the chance to experience the iconic PAC-MAN game in real life.
The PAC-MAN Live Experience will be open from 1 PM to 11 PM on weekdays and 11 AM to midnight on weekends at Active Games UAE, Al Quoz. Each session will last for 30 minutes, and tickets start at AED 160. Groups of up to 8 players can participate in the experience at the same time.
Participants will step into a life-sized maze, taking on the role of PAC-MAN as they navigate through the maze, collecting power pellets while avoiding the ghosts – Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde. Using advanced projection technology, the experience will transform the classic 2D world into an interactive, full-body gaming adventure.
Players can join forces, as the PAC-MAN Live Experience allows up to 8 people to play together in a team. This makes the event suitable for friends, families, or colleagues looking to experience the game together.
Following the success of the 2024 UK edition, the Dubai event is expected to feature:
- High-Tech PAC-Vests: In the UK edition, players wore PAC-Vests that tracked movement and provided feedback when ghosts were near. We anticipate similar technology in Dubai to enhance the immersion of the experience.
- Dynamic Maze Design: The maze is expected to shift and change during each session, ensuring that the layout is different each time players engage with it.
- Live Host: Similar to the UK edition, the experience in Dubai may include a live host to guide players, offering commentary and adding an interactive element to the game.
Little Lion Entertainment and Bandai Namco Entertainment are introducing a new form of immersive entertainment by bringing popular characters and games to life. The PAC-MAN Live Experience will launch in selected locations worldwide, with additional venues added as needed.
