Emirates will introduce additional aircraft fitted with its Premium Economy and refreshed Business Class cabins on scheduled services to Amman, Mumbai, Muscat, and Bahrain starting from October 2025. The deployment is part of the airline’s ongoing retrofit and fleet expansion programme, aimed at offering a consistent product across more routes connecting through Dubai.
From 26 October 2025, flights EK903 and EK904 to and from Amman will operate with a four-class Airbus A380 featuring Premium Economy, with both daily services offering the airline’s latest cabin interiors. On the same date, Mumbai will receive a retrofitted Boeing 777 on flights EK504 and EK505, making the updated cabins available on 22 weekly services. Beginning 30 October 2025, Emirates will operate its Airbus A350 on all nine weekly flights between Dubai and Muscat, while Bahrain will see the introduction of a retrofitted Boeing 777 on flights EK833 and EK834 every Thursday from 4 December 2025. Following this, all Emirates services to Bahrain will be operated by upgraded aircraft.
These deployments will bring the total number of weekly flights featuring Premium Economy to more than 635 across the Emirates network by winter 2025. By the same time, Emirates expects to serve 68 cities with aircraft offering Premium Economy, 36 of which will be exclusively operated by aircraft fitted with the product.
The retrofit programme covers 219 aircraft, including 110 Airbus A380s and 109 Boeing 777s. As of August 2025, 67 aircraft have been refurbished, with progress continuing at an average rate of one aircraft every three weeks.
