Ennismore’s The Hoxton to Open 230-Room Hotel in Dubai Media City

The Hoxton Dubai Media City is being brought to the city by Ennismore, the hospitality group behind brands including Delano, Mama Shelter and 25hours Hotels.

London hotel brand The Hoxton is set to open its first Dubai property in Dubai Media City, replacing the former Radisson Blu site.

The Hoxton, which was founded in London’s Shoreditch neighbourhood in 2006, is set to expand its presence to Dubai with a new hotel in Dubai Media City.

The property will feature 230 guest rooms alongside dining, nightlife and wellness facilities. The hotel will focus on community-driven hospitality and neighbourhood-inspired design, with programming aimed at connecting with Dubai’s community of artists, entrepreneurs and innovators.

The Hoxton Dubai Media City is being brought to the city by Ennismore, the hospitality group behind brands including Delano, Mama Shelter and 25hours Hotels.

Paris Society, the restaurant group behind Dubai venues including Mimi Kakushi, Gigi Rigolatto and Maison Revka, will curate the dining and nightlife concepts at the property.

The hotel will include Onaka, a Japanese handroll bar led by French restaurateur Moïse Sfez. Another addition will be Bleachers, a social sports bar inspired by gameday culture.

Il Bambini Club, an extension of the trattoria concept with locations in London, Paris and Cape Town, will also be part of the hotel.

The property will also introduce Tope, The Hoxton’s rooftop concept, which has locations in Barcelona, Portland and Brussels. The venue will offer mixed drinks alongside a Mexican-inspired menu.

The hotel lobby will feature a selection of comfort food and will host cultural programming, including local collaborations, pop-ups and creative activations.

The Hoxton Dubai Media City will also mark the introduction of the brand’s first wellness club.

The facility will include a gym floor, movement studios, spa treatment rooms, contrast therapy facilities and a members’ lounge. It will also host fitness and wellbeing programmes designed around social and community-focused activities.

A healthy café concept, Beaum, will form part of the wellness offering.

Israr Liaqat, Group CEO of Select Group, said the addition of the wellness club reflects the company’s focus on wellness and community across its developments.

“Bringing that same philosophy into our hospitality portfolio through The Hoxton, Dubai Media City, is a natural next step for Select Group, and a reflection of the ethos we carry across every part of our business,” said Liaqat.

He added that the partnership with Ennismore will bring The Hoxton’s community-focused approach to Dubai Media City, while introducing the brand’s first wellness club.
