The PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2025 will take place in Riyadh from July 25 to August 3, as part of the ongoing Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025. The tournament will be held at the newly developed Qiddiya Esports Arena, a dedicated venue within the Qiddiya Gaming and Esports District.
The event is being organised by the Esports World Cup Foundation, an initiative established to lead the global expansion of competitive gaming from Saudi Arabia. The Foundation operates under the umbrella of Savvy Games Group, a company owned by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), and is aligned with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to promote growth in entertainment, digital infrastructure, and international sports engagement.
The tournament will feature 24 qualified teams from major competitive regions including Southeast Asia, MENA, Europe, China, South Korea, Japan, India, and the Americas. All teams have earned their place through regional tournaments such as the PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL), Peacekeeper Elite League (PEL), and BGMI Pro Series.
PMWC 2025 will unfold over three phases: the Group Stage, the Survival Stage, and the Grand Final. The final 16 teams will compete from August 1 to 3 for a share of the $3 million prize pool.
The tournament will be streamed live on the official Twitch and YouTube channels of the Esports World Cup, making it accessible to viewers worldwide.
