Qatar’s events calendar this March features a diverse mix of cultural performances, community celebrations, sporting action and retail experiences. From live entertainment and orchestral performances to festive markets and football matches, residents and visitors can explore a variety of activities taking place across Doha and beyond during the month.

Here is a look at six events taking place in Qatar this March.

Fontana Circus Qatar

Fontana Circus Qatar presents a travelling water circus experience that combines live performances with visual and sound elements. The show features dancers, aerial performers and circus artists performing alongside a musical dancing fountain, creating a multi-sensory production designed for audiences of different age groups. The event is currently taking place in Al Waab, Doha, and will continue until April 18.

Eid Al-Fitr Fireworks at Souq Al Wakra

To mark the conclusion of Ramadan, Eid Al-Fitr fireworks will illuminate the night sky above Souq Al Wakra. The display forms part of the seasonal celebrations that bring residents and visitors together in one of Qatar’s well-known heritage districts. Families and visitors typically gather along the waterfront and surrounding areas to watch the fireworks and experience the festive atmosphere. The fireworks are scheduled to take place from March 20 to 23.

Sneaker Con Doha

Sneaker Con Doha brings together sneaker collectors, resellers, brands and enthusiasts for a gathering dedicated to sneaker culture. The event features opportunities to explore rare footwear collections, participate in brand activations and connect with members of the global sneaker community. Sneaker Con Doha will be hosted at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) from March 21 to 23.

Qatar Football Festival

The Qatar Football Festival will see several international football teams compete in matches held across major stadiums in the country. Scheduled fixtures include Egypt facing Saudi Arabia, Qatar playing Serbia, and additional matches involving Spain and Argentina. The event will conclude with a Finalissima match between Argentina and Spain. Matches will take place at Lusail Stadium, Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium and Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium from March 26 to 31.

QPO Presents Strauss’ Don Quixote

The Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra will present an evening dedicated to the works of Richard Strauss. Conducted by Elias Grandy, the programme will feature cellist Daniel Müller-Schott and violist Giovanni Pasini performing Strauss’ Don Quixote. The performance will also include Don Juan and the Suite from Der Rosenkavalier. The concert will be held at the Qatar National Convention Centre on March 27.

Hayyi Ramadan Trade Fair 2026

The Hayyi Ramadan Trade Fair brings together vendors from multiple countries showcasing a wide range of products including perfumes, clothing, accessories, home décor, carpets and food items. Hosted at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre, the fair offers a shopping environment linked to Ramadan preparations and cultural traditions. The event is running until March 9.
