Sharjah Digital Department (SDD) has finalised preparations for the Government of Sharjah’s participation in GITEX Global 2025, to be held from 13 to 17 October at Dubai World Trade Centre.
Under the theme ‘Powered by Tech, Driven by People’, the unified Sharjah Pavilion will bring together 20 government entities and showcase 14 digital projects and initiatives, highlighting the emirate’s ongoing progress in digital transformation and innovation.
The announcement followed the Preparatory Forum organised by SDD, attended by H.E. Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director General of SDD, and H.E. Eng. Lamia Al Hosan Al Shamsi, Director of SDD, along with representatives from the participating entities.
The forum focused on strengthening collaboration, coordinating media efforts, and ensuring a unified presence for Sharjah at the global technology event. Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi noted that the participation will build on the directives of H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, following his approval of the Sharjah Digital Integration Programme and its implementation plan.
He emphasised that this year’s participation will demonstrate Sharjah’s progress in improving digital government services and the quality of life for its residents. The pavilion will also reflect the emirate’s efforts to create an interconnected digital ecosystem that supports community well-being.
Sharjah’s participation will focus on success stories in digital transformation and AI adoption, while encouraging collaboration between the public and private sectors.
The pavilion will offer an interactive visitor experience across four key ecosystems — Digital Experiences, Environmental Sustainability, Smart Cities, and Our Humanity — each highlighting a different pillar of Sharjah’s digital strategy.

During the forum, participants discussed media coordination, pavilion design, registration processes, and communication guidelines to ensure a cohesive representation of Sharjah’s digital achievements at GITEX Global 2025.
