Hilton has announced the upcoming debut of its Tapestry Collection brand in Saudi Arabia through a newly signed agreement with Al Musbah Group. The property, named Diyar Ajwa, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, is expected to open in the central Haram area of Madinah in 2025.
This new hotel will offer 221 guest rooms and suites, an all-day dining restaurant, a fitness centre, and a café. The design of the property will take inspiration from the Ajwa date, a variety native to the region. The location will allow pedestrian access and views of Al Masjid Al Nabawi, one of the city’s most important religious sites.
The hotel will also benefit from its proximity to Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport and connectivity to the Haramain High-Speed Rail, linking Madinah with Makkah and Jeddah.
The addition of Diyar Ajwa supports Hilton’s continued growth in the Kingdom, where the group currently operates 20 hotels and has 77 more in the pipeline. The signing is part of Hilton’s broader goal of expanding its portfolio to 100 properties across Saudi Arabia.
This announcement follows the recent signing of Spark by Hilton Makkah Aziziyah, marking the debut of Hilton’s premium economy brand in the MENA region, also in collaboration with Al Musbah Group.
