The Middle East Blockchain Awards (MEBA) will return for its second edition on April 29, 2025, at the Jumeirah Burj Al Arab, coinciding with the TOKEN2049 conference. The event will bring together professionals and organizations from the blockchain and cryptocurrency sectors to recognize achievements in the industry.
The UAE continues to lead blockchain adoption in the MENA region. According to recent Chainalysis data, MENA received an estimated on-chain transaction value of $338.7 billion between July 2023 and June 2024, accounting for 7.5% of global transaction volume. The UAE ranked third globally for digital currency usage, supported by its regulatory policies and growing blockchain ecosystem.
Organized by Hoko Group, MEBA will recognize contributions to blockchain and Web 3.0 advancements. Dr. Marwan Al Zarouni, CEO of Dubai Blockchain Center (DBCC), returns as a judge.
