The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is set to take place next month, with Dubai playing a key role in hosting India’s group-stage matches and one semi-final. Due to ongoing disputes between India and Pakistan, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has introduced a hybrid model for this year’s tournament. While Pakistan remains the official host, India’s matches will be played at neutral venues, with all of India’s fixtures taking place in Dubai.
The tournament will be held from February 20 to March 9, with India playing its group-stage matches at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The schedule includes a high-profile match between India and Pakistan on February 23, which is expected to draw significant attention from fans.
India’s Fixtures in Dubai:
- India vs Bangladesh: Thursday, February 20, Dubai International Cricket Stadium
- India vs Pakistan: Sunday, February 23, Dubai International Cricket Stadium
- India vs New Zealand: Sunday, March 2, Dubai International Cricket Stadium
- Semi-final 1: Tuesday, March 4, Dubai International Cricket Stadium
- Final: Sunday, March 9, Dubai International Cricket Stadium (TBC)
The tournament will feature the top eight ranked teams from the 2023 Cricket World Cup, including India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan, New Zealand, Australia, England, and South Africa. The competition will be held in Pakistan as well, with matches involving teams other than India scheduled across various cities in Pakistan.
Tickets for India’s group-stage matches went on sale on February 3 but sold out quickly. The sale for tickets to the final will open after the semi-final, with the location of the final being determined based on India’s performance. If India qualifies for the final, it will take place in Dubai; otherwise, the final will be held in Lahore.
