Initial Appoints Rami Abdulaziz AlMaddah as CEO to Lead Next Phase of Growth

Initial has announced the appointment of Rami Abdulaziz AlMaddah as chief executive officer.

AlMaddah brings more than two decades of executive leadership experience in Saudi Arabia across facilities management, real estate, transportation, retail, banking and industrial sectors.

As a C-suite executive, he has led corporate strategy, digital and financial transformation, and performance improvement initiatives across complex organisations. He has also worked on restructuring programmes and P&L optimisation to support long-term business objectives.

With over 20 years’ experience, AlMaddah has worked within regulatory frameworks, supported Saudisation compliance and contributed to securing high-value contracts. His experience includes applying data-driven approaches to support revenue growth, as well as focusing on risk management, technology integration and improving operational efficiency.

He has also been involved in strengthening financial discipline, improving asset performance and supporting workforce nationalisation, while contributing to the development of scalable business models.

AlMaddah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the American University in Cairo and has completed advanced leadership and management studies.
