Jeddah Season 2025 Begins, Highlighting Culture, Entertainment, and Tourism Growth

The overall aim of Jeddah Season is to support the local economy, promote cultural engagement, and enhance the city’s appeal as a year-round destination.

Jeddah Season 2025, organised by the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), has officially launched, bringing a diverse line-up of cultural, entertainment, and retail activities to the city this summer. With the theme “Jeddah Is Different,” this year’s edition is focused on showcasing the city’s evolving role as a tourism and cultural destination.

The opening ceremony was held at the Jeddah Promenade along the waterfront. The evening included drone shows, roaming performers, and family-friendly attractions. The event drew strong attendance from residents and visitors, offering a preview of the varied programming planned over the coming weeks.

One of the key highlights of this year’s season is the Western Coast event in Obhur, running until October 4. The beachfront activation features water sports, live performances, and dedicated areas for families and women. Visitors can participate in activities such as jet skiing, paddleboarding, or simply relax by the sea.

Retail also plays a central role in this year’s programming. The Jeddah Shopping Festival, running until August 31, is being held across major malls in the city. Shoppers can access limited-time offers, giveaways, and promotions, with several retail partners offering discounts on hospitality and travel packages.

The overall aim of Jeddah Season is to support the local economy, promote cultural engagement, and enhance the city’s appeal as a year-round destination. With its blend of modern infrastructure and cultural heritage, Jeddah is attracting increased interest from both regional and international visitors.
