Midad Real Estate Company has announced a new joint venture with Jeddah Central Development Company, a subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund, and Kerzner International, the global hospitality group behind the Atlantis and One&Only brands. Through this agreement, the first Atlantis and One&Only resorts in Saudi Arabia will be developed within Jeddah Central, a major waterfront district currently under development along the Red Sea coast.
Signed during the TOURISE Global Summit, the partnership supports Jeddah Central’s vision of becoming a leading tourism, leisure, and cultural destination in the kingdom.
The planned Atlantis Jeddah will include branded residences, the Lost Chambers Aquarium, Aquaventure Waterpark, more than 20 dining venues, a waterfront entertainment pier, and a selection of retail outlets.
The One&Only Jeddah Resort will offer rooms, suites, villas, and the brand’s first private home community in Saudi Arabia. Facilities will include seven dining venues, Club One Wellness Centre, private beach access, and dedicated event spaces.
Both developments will draw inspiration from the heritage and natural setting of the Jeddah Corniche, incorporating contemporary architecture, coral-inspired landscaping, and environmentally conscious design principles. Sustainability measures, including energy-efficient systems, will be integrated across the projects.
This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the evolution of Jeddah as a coastal destination and supports the broader objective of enhancing the tourism and hospitality sector in Saudi Arabia.
