Metallica, a metal band, has officially announced a performance in Bahrain, marking the band’s first-ever appearance in the country. The concert is scheduled for December 3, 2025, at the Beyond Al Dana Amphitheatre, a unique open-air venue carved into the rock formations of the Sakhir desert.
The show is part of the extended leg of the band’s ongoing M72 World Tour, which began in 2023 and has continued through 2024. The announcement follows the band’s recent return to the stage in New York to begin the 2025 leg of the tour.
The M72 World Tour is promoted and organized globally by Live Nation Entertainment.
“Greetings from the streets as we started our 2025 tour on Saturday in Mylaw… it feels good to be back,” Metallica shared in a recent statement. “We will extend the good atmosphere into 2025 and make two more stops after our visit to Australia and New Zealand.”
Following the Bahrain concert, Metallica will travel to Abu Dhabi for a headline performance on December 6, 2025, as part of the After-Race Concerts during the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix on Yas Island.
The Beyond Al Dana Amphitheatre in Bahrain has a capacity of approximately 10,000, offering a more intimate setting compared to the stadiums typically used in other countries on the tour. The venue is notable for being built 15 meters deep into the desert terrain, providing a distinct concert experience.
