Harry Potter: The Exhibition has officially opened to the public in Abu Dhabi at Manarat Al Saadiyat, Saadiyat Island, marking the Middle East debut of the international touring exhibition. The experience is organised by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences in partnership with Imagine (formerly Imagine Exhibitions), Eventim Live, and Proactiv Entertainment, and is supported by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, along with local partner Miral.

The exhibition in Abu Dhabi offers an interactive and personalised journey through the Wizarding World. Visitors begin their experience by creating a wizarding profile and receiving a wristband that personalises their route. Guests can participate in activities such as casting spells, brewing potions, testing their Quidditch skills, and choosing a Patronus. The exhibition is designed for all ages, with each visitor’s interactions tracked in real time.

Themed galleries bring iconic settings and moments to life. From Page to Screen showcases a first edition of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone in a Gringotts-inspired vault. The Hogwarts Castle Gallery includes elements such as the Whomping Willow, Dementors, and the Marauder’s Map. The Great Hall Gallery celebrates seasonal events in a reimagined setting. The Hogwarts Houses Gallery offers a space for guests to explore each house and capture moments with the Sorting Hat. Classrooms such as Potions, Divination, Herbology, and Defense Against the Dark Arts are filled with interactive displays and original props, while Hagrid’s Hut and the Forbidden Forest provide opportunities to explore iconic creatures and cast a Patronus charm.

The exhibition also includes behind-the-scenes insights into the making of the films, including commentary on costume and creature design. Visitors can view original props and costumes, and engage with multimedia displays that explore the creative process behind the films.

A retail store is located at the end of the exhibition, offering an exclusive range of Harry Potter: The Exhibition merchandise. This includes apparel, jewellery, and themed products not available at any other Wizarding World event.

The opening date coincides with the birthday of the story’s central character. Ticket prices start at AED 115. VIP and Flex ticket options are available, providing fast-track access, audio guides, commemorative merchandise, and flexible entry within operating hours.

Following its global premiere in Philadelphia in February 2022, Harry Potter: The Exhibition has been hosted in major cities around the world, welcoming over 3.5 million visitors. It is currently also showing in Salt Lake City, Krakow, and Melbourne.

Located at Manarat Al Saadiyat, the exhibition is open daily except Tuesdays. Hours vary by day, with the last entry ranging from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM depending on the day of the week, and the venue remaining open for two hours after final entry. The experience is suitable for all ages, and children under three can enter free of charge. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible.
