Media One Hotel has announced the return of the M1 Run on Saturday, January 31, 2026. Now in its 12th edition, the annual vertical run challenges participants to climb 42 floors via more than 700 stairs within the hotel, covering an approximate distance of approximately 1.2 kilometres. The event is hosted by Media One Hotel, with registrations managed via hopasports.com.
Held at Media One Hotel in Dubai Media City, the M1 Run is open to individual runners and teams of four. Registration will begin at 7:30am, with the race scheduled to start at 9:00am.
For the 2026 edition, Media One Hotel will donate 100 per cent of the profits raised from the event to The Sparkle Foundation, a charitable organisation supporting projects in Malawi focused on nutrition, education, healthcare and civic empowerment.
The event includes a total prize pool valued at Dhs20,000, along with giveaways and participant goodie bags. Entry fees start at Dhs150 for individual runners, with optional breakfast packages available at Garden on 8. Team entry options are also available.
