Nadd Al Shiba PR & Event Management to Host 7th AccessAbilities Expo in Dubai This October

In addition to the exhibition, AAE will host a range of conferences and workshops focused on inclusion, education, and accessibility.

The 7th edition of the AccessAbilities Expo (AAE) will take place from 6–8 October 2025 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, bringing together global experts, government representatives, and technology providers to share solutions that support People of Determination in leading more independent and inclusive lives.

The event is organized by Nadd Al Shiba PR & Event Management, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, and is supported by local and international partners in healthcare, education, travel, and technology.

With over 250 exhibitors from 50 countries and more than 15,000 expected visitors from 70+ nations, the Expo will feature a wide range of assistive technologies and rehabilitation services designed for individuals with mobility, visual, auditory, intellectual, and developmental disabilities, including autism.

The UAE has set a long-term vision to become one of the most inclusive countries for People of Determination. The Expo is aligned with this national priority and provides a platform to explore the latest assistive products, services, and best practices for inclusive living, travel, education, and employment.

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed stated: “Assistive technologies are advancing rapidly, and we are proud that Dubai continues to serve as a central hub for innovation and support for more than 50 million People of Determination across the Middle East. Our aim is to ensure better access, dignity, and quality of life for everyone.”

The Expo will showcase more than 4,500 assistive technologies, many of them presented for the first time in the region. These include mobility aids, communication tools, wearable tech, hearing and visual aids, prosthetics, and digital learning platforms.

In addition to the exhibition, AAE will host a range of conferences and workshops focused on inclusion, education, and accessibility. Key highlights include:

  • MENA Inclusion Summit – on global best practices for inclusive education
  • 5th Accessible Travel and Tourism Conference
  • Dedicated Deaf Community Conference
  • Free medical screenings and rehabilitation consultations
  • Interactive sessions on sports, health, and the arts

Despite growing awareness, a recent WHO report revealed that only 1 in 10 people globally have access to the assistive products they need. High costs, limited availability, and lack of trained professionals remain major barriers.

Ghassan Suleiman, CEO of AccessAbilities Expo, said: “Our focus is on improving accessibility and showcasing practical innovations that can make a real difference in everyday life. The Expo offers a platform for collaboration among public and private sector stakeholders to support the growing needs of People of Determination, both in the region and beyond.”
