The Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026 is taking part in Abu Dhabi Summer Sports, hosted at ADNEC Abu Dhabi, to encourage healthy lifestyles and raise awareness for next year’s event.
Scheduled for February 6–15, 2026, the Open Masters Games will be the largest international sports event of its kind in the Middle East. Taking place across the UAE, it will bring together over 25,000 participants competing in 33 sports, including four traditional Emirati sports that reflect the country’s heritage. The event aims to support community engagement, healthy living, and inclusive participation in sports, regardless of age.
At Abu Dhabi Summer Sports—taking place from June 5 to August 21 in both Abu Dhabi and Al Ain—the Open Masters Games team has set up a booth where visitors can register as participants or volunteers. The booth also shares more about the Games’ objectives and encourages people to stay active.
This initiative aligns with the UAE’s broader efforts to promote wellness and physical activity, including the National Sports Strategy – 2031, which aims to increase participation in various sports to 71% of the population.
