Riyadh’s Open-Air Music Festival Groove On The Grass Announces 2025 Edition with International Lineup

The festival will feature a mix of international artists like Giorgia Angiuli, Glowal, and Henri Bergmann, alongside regional talents including Dish Dash, Moses, and Darko Delix. Food, beverages, a marketplace, and interactive activations will be available.

Groove On The Grass, an open-air music festival, will return to Riyadh on Friday, October 17, 2025, at the JAX Viewpoint in Diriyah. This marks the festival’s second edition in the city following its debut in 2022. The location is well-suited for a cultural night out, as JAX District is a creative hub that brings together artists, galleries, and performances.

The festival will feature performances by international artists, including Giorgia Angiuli, Glowal, and Henri Bergmann, alongside regional talents such as Dish Dash, Deian, Darko Delix, Moses, Noa, and Kayan. Food and beverage options will be available at the venue, along with interactive activations and a marketplace for visitors. Attendees are reminded that the festival is open to those aged 18 and above, and casual attire is recommended.

Groove On The Grass has been running for almost ten years and started in Dubai, UAE. In February 2022, the festival returned to the UAE with a new edition at Dunes Resort in Ras Al Khaimah. Over the years, it has played an influential role in the Middle East’s music scene, introducing more than 180 artists to the region and showcasing local dance acts to a wider audience.

The first Saudi edition took place in May 2022 in Jeddah, featuring artists like Birds of Mind, Dish Dash, Dorar, Varoo, and Vinyl Mode. The second edition followed in September 2022, also in Jeddah, with a lineup including Cosmicat, Deian, Dish Dash, Loush, Maga, Patrice Bäumel, S-Dons, Voidkid, and Yulia Niko.
