Kite Beach Dubai successfully hosted “Run As One,” a community-focused running event that brought together approximately 1,500 participants and over 20 running clubs at Kite Beach.
Held on Sunday morning, the non-competitive run featured distances ranging from two to eight kilometres, enabling participants of varying fitness levels to take part. The initiative aimed to provide an inclusive platform for the city’s running community to come together through a shared activity.
The event saw multiple running clubs, which typically operate independently, participate side by side. Attendees included experienced runners as well as casual participants, with many wearing the UAE flag colours—red, green, white and black.
“Run As One” was supported by partners including adidas, Red Bull, Costa Coffee and Five Guys UAE.
According to the organisers, the objective of the event was to create a space for people to connect through movement in a simple and accessible format.
Following the run, participants remained at the venue, interacting with fellow attendees and contributing messages of support, reflecting continued engagement beyond the run itself.
