Saudia Airlines has entered into a partnership agreement with Canada’s WestJet, one of the key airlines in North America, to enhance cooperation and expand travel options between North America and the Middle East.

The agreement aims to strengthen Saudia’s presence in the Canadian market through WestJet’s hub at Toronto Pearson International Airport. This will provide travelers with wider access to domestic destinations across Canada.

Saudia noted that the partnership is in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 objectives, particularly those related to the aviation sector, which is currently focused on expanding the national carrier’s fleet and improving service standards.

This collaboration supports the National Aviation Strategy, part of the broader National Transport and Logistics Strategy, which seeks to increase air connectivity to more than 250 international destinations by 2030. It also aligns with the Ministry of Tourism’s goal of attracting 150 million visits by the end of the decade.
