SeaWorld Yas Island Abu Dhabi Brings Back Electric Ocean Festival Until August 30

This year’s festival introduces new attractions, including pre-show entertainment, neon-themed performances, and appearances by SeaWorld Abu Dhabi’s popular characters.

SeaWorld Yas Island Abu Dhabi has announced the return of its Electric Ocean Festival for a third edition, running until August 30, 2026. The seasonal programme features live entertainment, interactive experiences, creative activities for children, and extended operating hours throughout the summer.

This year’s festival introduces new attractions, including pre-show entertainment, neon-themed performances, and appearances by SeaWorld Abu Dhabi’s popular characters. At the park’s One Ocean area, guests can experience a new neon-inspired ocean spectacle hosted by festival characters Volt and Current.

The daily programme begins with an interactive opening ceremony, followed by five live performances featuring dancers, jugglers, and roaming entertainers. Visitors can also participate in the new Power Surge interactive experience, where festival hosts and SeaWorld character DJ Shivers lead activities designed around visual and sound effects.

The festival also includes silent discos, family-friendly entertainment, and meet-and-greet opportunities with SeaWorld characters such as Sakina, Puck, SeaStar, and Shivers.

SeaWorld Yas Island Abu Dhabi said the festival supports its broader mission of combining entertainment with educational experiences that promote awareness of marine conservation. Visits to the park also contribute to its conservation, rescue, research, and rehabilitation initiatives.

To accommodate visitors during the festival period, SeaWorld Yas Island Abu Dhabi has extended its operating hours and will welcome guests daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM until August 30.

SeaWorld Yas Island Abu Dhabi is home to eight immersive marine-themed zones and offers more than 100 animal experiences, presentations, and interactive attractions for visitors of all ages. The destination combines entertainment, education, and marine life experiences in a family-friendly environment.
