Spartan Launches New 10K Trail Run at Mushrif Park as Part of Dubai Fitness Challenge

The event, part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge in partnership with the Dubai Sports Council, offers a straightforward trail run through the park’s Ghaf forests and rugged tracks—without traditional Spartan obstacles.

Spartan Middle East has announced a new addition to its 2025 race calendar — a 10K Scenic Trail Run to be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Mushrif Park in Dubai.

Unlike the traditional obstacle-based Spartan races, this event focuses on a straightforward trail run through Mushrif Park’s Ghaf forests and natural tracks. It is designed for participants who prefer a run through nature without the physical challenges of rope climbs, mud pits, or barriers.

Covering 1,300 acres, Mushrif Park is one of Dubai’s largest green areas, known for its shaded woodlands, walking paths, and accessibility from Al Khawaneej. The event offers runners a chance to experience the park’s natural landscape in an organised setting.

The race is also part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, organised in partnership with the Dubai Sports Council, supporting the city-wide goal of encouraging residents to engage in “30 minutes of movement a day.”

This launch follows a busy year for Spartan in the UAE, which included the Spartan City Race at Etihad Arena in September and the Spartan Trifecta Weekend at Al Ain Zoo in October.

After the run, participants can visit a Festival Village at the finish area, which will include food stalls, rest zones, and family-friendly activities.
