The Events Group (TEG) has announced a new identity alongside the appointment of its Board and Leadership Team for 2026, marking the next phase in the organisation’s efforts to bring together professionals from the UAE events industry.
Sumaira Isaacs has been appointed President, with Ajay Bhojwani taking on the role of Past President. Kholoud Ali, who founded the group, will continue to play a key role in leading TEG into its next chapter.
The 2026 Board and Leadership Team also includes industry professionals Paul B., Khalid Alhammadi, Benoit Honnart, Ayman Al Awadhi, Matteo Ippoliti, Swarupini Jaishankar and Shabnam Rawal.
TEG was established to create a collective platform for professionals across the events industry, encouraging collaboration, dialogue and stronger industry representation. Over the years, the group has grown from a small network of industry members into a wider community of professionals and leaders.
The new identity reflects TEG’s continued focus on strengthening connections within the industry while providing a platform for its members to contribute to its development.
The announcement also marks a continued association with The MelRish Studio, which has documented TEG’s events through photography and videography over the past three years.
With its new Board and Leadership Team in place, The Events Group will continue its work towards bringing together stakeholders from across the UAE events industry and supporting the sector through collaboration and shared engagement.
