As Eid Al Adha approaches, the UAE’s live entertainment calendar is filling up with concerts, theatre productions and DJ performances taking place across Dubai and Abu Dhabi throughout the long weekend. From Arabic music icons and ballet showcases to Afro-house DJs and family-friendly theatre, venues including Dubai Opera, Coca-Cola Arena and Space42 Arena are set to host a packed programme of events between May 26 and May 30, 2026.
Electronic music fans can look forward to performances by Elexsandom and Kurd Maverick at CAVO, where both artists will deliver late-night sets featuring afro-house, amapiano and tech-house sounds. Haitian DJ and producer Francis Mercier will also headline a night at White Abu Dhabi on May 29.
For Arabic music audiences, several regional artists are scheduled to perform during the Eid break. Lebanese singer Adam will take the stage at Dubai Opera on May 28 with a concert featuring his well-known Arabic pop ballads. Iraqi artist Kadim Al Sahir is set to perform at Space42 Arena on the same evening, while Majid Al Mohandis will return to Coca-Cola Arena on May 29 with a concert focused on Khaleeji music and romantic hits.
On May 30, Syrian singer George Wassouf and Lebanese artist Ziad El Bourji will share the stage at Space42 Arena for a live concert featuring Arabic classics and contemporary ballads.
Beyond music performances, families can attend the theatre production Kingdom Of Ellera at The New Covent Garden Theatre inside Mall of the Emirates on May 28. The fantasy-themed production stars Bahraini actress Haifaa Hussein and centres around themes of unity and teamwork.
Meanwhile, ballet audiences can attend the Alexandrite Gala at Dubai Opera on May 30, headlined by the farewell performance of internationally recognised ballet dancer Ivan Vasiliev. The evening will also include performances by dancers from international ballet companies and a tribute inspired by Freddie Mercury and Queen.
With concerts, theatre and live performances spread across multiple venues throughout the Eid holiday period, the UAE’s entertainment calendar is offering residents and visitors a wide range of options beyond traditional Eid celebrations.
