The wedding of Shifa and Shahzeb, an Indian and Pakistani couple based in Atlanta, Georgia, was planned and managed by Dubai-based Vivaah Weddings and celebrated through a thoughtfully curated three-day event across some of the city’s most recognised venues. With guests travelling from the USA, India, and London, the celebrations reflected a blend of cultural traditions, contemporary design, and carefully planned experiences.
Décor across all wedding events was conceptualised and executed by U Events Global, while SoundKraft LLC managed sound and lighting throughout the celebrations. Photography and videography were led by Pervez Taufiq and team, documenting each event in detail.
The celebrations began with a welcome lunch at Hilton Al Habtoor City, themed “Welcome to Dubai.” Guests were greeted by Ayala dancers and served a selection of Emirati and Indian cuisine, setting a relaxed and welcoming tone as family and friends gathered.
In the evening, the sangeet took place at Delano Dubai with a Dubai Bling–inspired theme. The programme included Dabka dancers, the couple’s entrance accompanied by traditional zaffa performers, and a live performance by Bhaven Dhanak, followed by DJ-led music. The evening was guided by the emcee, ensuring smooth transitions and guest engagement.

On the second day, the Dana Garden and ballroom at Four Seasons Resort Dubai hosted the Nikkah ceremony. The space was styled in soft tones of blue, white, and green, creating a calm setting for the proceedings.
The bride made her entrance along a mirrored aisle accompanied by live violin music. Bridal hair and makeup were done by Aisha Khan, complementing the overall aesthetic. The ceremony was intimate and focused on bringing both families together. A live painter captured moments from the Nikkah on canvas as the ceremony unfolded.

Following the ceremony, guests were served a high tea featuring cold coffee, ice cream, and Indian and Arabic street food, along with personalised gifts. The evening concluded with a dinner offering Indian and international cuisine.
The final celebration was held at Atlantis The Royal, where the reception was designed around a red colour palette. The ballroom featured a ceiling installation with draped fabric, floral elements, and crystal detailing, with a suspended floral structure above the dancefloor.

The evening included speeches from family and friends, followed by a same-day edit showcasing highlights from the three days. Singer Asees Arshad performed later in the evening, after which the celebrations continued with an after-party.
The wedding concluded with Shifa’s ruksati, as guests gathered with sparklers. The couple departed together, marking the close of the celebrations.
Each event reflected careful planning and collaboration between the couple and their creative partners. Led by Vivaah Weddings, the three-day celebration brought together tradition, personal expression, and thoughtful execution.
