The three-day event will highlight Japanese culture through authentic food, live performances, cosplay parades, and family-friendly activities.

The much-awaited Japan Culture Con (JCC) is set to return for its second edition this December at Burj Park, Downtown Dubai, bringing together anime enthusiasts, food lovers, and culture seekers for a three-day celebration of Japanese traditions and pop culture.

Organised by West Field Event Management, the event aims to showcase Japan’s diverse culture through authentic cuisine, live performances, and engaging experiences designed for all age groups.

Visitors can look forward to a wide range of activities including live Teppanyaki cooking stations, ramen and mochi stalls, and a Kimono Fashion Show blending classic styles with modern design. The festival will also feature Taiko drumming, samurai showcases, and J-Pop concerts, offering an insight into Japan’s vibrant performing arts scene.

For those keen to participate, there will be an opportunity to join the Bon Odori dance around the Yagura stage and experience Japan’s festive traditions firsthand. Anime fans can enjoy cosplay parades, meet-and-greet sessions with Japanese voice actors, and behind-the-scenes discussions about popular series.

Families can explore the Little Ninjas and Princesses Zone, offering origami workshops, face painting, and traditional craft activities. A Mochitsuki (mochi pounding) demonstration and jinrikshaw rides will also be available, adding to the authentic atmosphere.
