World Utilities Congress 2025 Concludes at ADNEC, Organised by dmg events and Supported by mediaPro’s AV Solutions

The fourth edition of the World Utilities Congress took place from 27 to 29 May 2025 at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi, hosted by Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA) and organised by dmg events. Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the event drew more than 18,000 attendees, 1,400 conference delegates, and over 500 expert speakers from various countries.

This year’s theme, Innovating for a New Age of Utilities, set the tone for discussions around building resilient, efficient, and digitally driven utility systems. The event brought together global leaders, innovators, and stakeholders working on sustainable solutions for power and water management. It featured more than 120 conference sessions, including focused tracks on climate tech, clean tech, and the energy-water nexus. The programme examined the challenges of rising energy demand, the role of AI in utility operations, and the need for sustainable investment in energy infrastructure.

Throughout the three days, speakers including ministers, CEOs, policymakers, and experts addressed the future of utilities, highlighting the importance of digital transformation, smart grid systems, and sustainable financing models. Conversations also focused on climate adaptation, decentralised water infrastructure, and the integration of renewables.

mediaPro International Middle East provided audiovisual solutions across several key areas of the congress. Their work covered Conference A, Conference B, the TAQA round table, and the dedicated theatres for clean tech and climate tech.
