Yas Island Hosts Fourth Edition of Congress of Arabic and Creative Industries

Organised by DCT Abu Dhabi’s Arabic Language Centre, the event will feature keynote sessions, panel discussions, and workshops on Arabic storytelling, digital economy, AI in content production, and more.

The Congress of Arabic and Creative Industries (Congress ACI) will return to Yas Island on September 14–15, taking place at Etihad Arena. Organised by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre at the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), the two-day event is dedicated to exploring Arabic language, culture, and creativity across multiple disciplines.

This year’s theme, “Arabic Creativity Reimagined”, will bring together regional and international voices from across the creative sector to exchange ideas and share expertise. The event will include panel discussions, exhibitions, and workshops focused on Arabic storytelling, cultural expressions, and the evolving role of Arabic language in creative industries.

Day one will feature an opening keynote by H.E. Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of DCT – Abu Dhabi, addressing the cultural dialogue around Arabic creativity. The programme also includes a panel discussion on women reshaping cultural narratives, with contributions from leaders in TV and film.

Day two will cover topics such as the power dynamics of the digital economy, opportunities within the audiobook sector, and the impact of artificial intelligence on Arabic content production.

Congress ACI aims to provide a platform for meaningful dialogue and collaboration, highlighting Abu Dhabi’s role in promoting Arabic language and supporting innovation within the creative sector.
